sardinian textile art





I hadn't had time to visit textile museum ,luckily our Bed&Breakfast was decorated with sardinian tapestry that I like so much.
I know ,this is not a Christmas time color palette,but I have to share this wonderful view on sardinian sea.I was there for my friend's wedding this weekend.No need to say how wonderful it was.I hope that you had great weekend ,too!

My birthday is coming soon and I want to treat myself with some vintage enamel flowers,but it's SO hard to choose!All of these are from eBay ,but there is an incredible range on Etsy ,too

I'm in LOVE with a illustrations made by Hungarian artist Janos Kass . I have bought these stamps last year on eBay,and I just saw some wonderful books at Uresica,this morning.

I would really like to have some of his books,and I found this site,but I don't understand Hungarian :(,any suggestion is welcome...

Needlepointers help needed!Lately ,two great needlepointers wrote to me ,so I took from the drawer my forgotten project and thought some of you might help:
I have seen this Elisabeth's cushion about a year ago and felt in love immediately.It seemed to me like a big needlepoint,so I bought the canvas shown above,but I can't find anywhere the name of this technique.Do you have any suggestion?
