Her food, please!

slow living,  beautiful photography, colors and compositions,  passion ... dedication and care ... vegetarian ... pure... in one word inspirational. Thank you Lakshmi  for such a nice blog! That Finnish soup will be on my menu next weekend i just have to find somewhere those lovely wild rose petals.

His eye for color please...

I've been seeing these beautiful vessels here and there over the web a lot, but since I'm becoming a victim of 3-second attention span (yes, I guess I'm becoming Pinterestaholic) I never checked who is the artist behind them...until this morning...and what a beautiful surprise: Ben Fiess , young ceramicist, living in rural Minnesota tending a farm; growing plants, keepings goats out of trouble, raising barns, and eating great food,  also  developing and sharing an online glaze and clay body database (thank you so much Ben, I hope to try all the recipes one day).
So stunning, so inspiring, so beautiful

over the weekend....butterflies

maybe because of  reflective mirroring in previous post or because of all the butterflies I saw on our vacation, I wanted to create another small collection of butterflies for this empty wall....almost finished

Reflected reflections

I've posted reflection here so many times already, but there is something that fascinated me so much about capturing the colours while mixing with each other on the surface of the water, something that you can't see that well with your eyes so the photos are always a surprise.

Here are a bit different reflections of boats: reflected...they remind me a bit of ikat, a bit of fabric marbling , a bit of butterflies...
Check this inspiring video about Ikat making and here you'll find two about marbling that I simply adore
Have a nice weekend!

Back home... to rainy Milan...

I hope you will enjoy these sea blue, sunset pink and leaf green hues as much as I do right now :)
